Beware: Faulty Sellers With Positive "Buyer" Feedback, Anyone Have Similar?
...on eBay I am having two problems this month alone with sellers that at first glance look to have legitimate feedback numbers but upon further review it shows that all of their feedback is buyer feedback with no feedback as sellers.
I have had two bad transactions with these. Has anyone else encountered these types of sellers?Last edited by gfel2795; 10-16-2010 at 12:34 PM.

ive had a run with a seller that his thing to atract people was "free shipping". after i sent payment and found it was too late to do anything (out 12 bux, didnt hurt me that bad) i later looked at his feedback, which was about 45 feedbacks, his latest feedback was about 8 months prior to the auctions date. most were buyers feedback. After he got banned, he popped back up on the bay and i sent ebay details on the guy and was again, banned. but on the new acount his feedback was the same thing, about 45 with mostly buyers feedback. man do i hate scammers.....

In an issue over a $41 Jets jersey right now.
If he doesn't send me ANYTHING and doesn't respond will I be able to get this money back? I know eBay handles claims for misrepresented items, how about if the item does not show up at all?
Oh...and yes, this guy too offered free shipping.

I'm having an issue on the opposite end. No one bids on my items because all of my feedback is as a buyer... how am I supposed to prove I'm a good seller if no one is buying?

Well I escalated this to a claim.
Amazes me how fast he accepted my $41.00 Buy-It-Now offer (same night) and after I paid and he submitted a BS Delivery Confirmation number he hasn't answered any correspondences from me or eBay.
Will I get my money back here? Does anyone have similar experiences...does buyer protection save me here?

I've never had to do a claim before, but I belive you can also put a claim through paypal as well. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong as I have never been through this.

The refund will come through. Just make sure to post both claims. eBay and Paypal. When they see the double-whammy, you will be refunded.
Remember, when a seller stops communicating and does not refund, he also stops communicating with Paypal and Ebay. When a seller stops communicating, that when the refund happens.
Shortly after, the seller is often banned from both places, depending on how many different people he/she have ripped-off.
