What do we do, Pens fans ????

Not that I think they should, but.....

Should we, and if so, where should we send Marc-Andre Fleury ?
Starting to look like his usefulness in the Burg is coming to an end.
Where can we get a power forward and a good goalie in return?

Just a discussion, not a slam of Fleury at all, I like the guy.

Right now with the way he is playing he is not even trade able as no team would take him.

I'm hoping the Leafs or Habs would bite. Because I intend to move my PC of him if he gets traded :D.

Jaroslav Halak bettered Marc-Andre Fleury in last year's playoffs. Halak, at the absolute peak of his value, was traded for two prospects. Yes, Fleury has a ring but it is unrealistic to expect both a power forward and a good goalie for him, especially when he has looked so bad out of the gates this season.

Habs fan and collector! Current PC's: Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, and Lane Hutson...., and of course...

Is Staal even back on the lineup yet? If so, I'm still advocating for Malkin on the left wing on Crosby's line. Staal centers 2nd line, 2nd PP, 1st PK. And they need Michalek back.

Good strategy...just hope its not Nashville or Florida

I agree - I dont think they will get a power forward (one of the hardest to acquire) and a good goalie for him....His #s are average at best.
I would say they can still get a top 6 player and a decent goalie for him...based on being on Pittsburgh and winning a cup....
I am sure GMs do look at a start of a season but doubt they base the trade on only a few games he has played this year.....so he still has trade value....

He isnt going anywhere right now. $5.5M tied up for him and won a cup. His numbers are average every year (.900 save %) but he has playoff experience and he has always been a streaky tender, and a bone of contention with myself (as he can make the most ridiculous saves and let in the softies).
They will stick it out with him and work with him - thank god Johnson has been solid.

Leafs have Giguare/Gustavsson, and a couple good prospect goaltenders in Rynnas and Reimer. They don't need another goalie, it's the least of their problems, and certainly not for 5 mil.

As with habs, they have a clear starter in Price, and a decent backup in Auld. Also, they have no cap room for him, and would have to get rid of one of their overpaid players, which Pens wouldn't want/can't afford.

I'd be more concerned about Jordan Staal breaking his hand today. Terrible luck for him, first surgery in the summer then starts skating again and breaks his hand, has to have surgery again. Out 6 more weeks.

I want Jake to be traded to Pittsburgh!

I think he and Staal would become a great duo.
