To everyone I made trades with last week...

I made quite a few trades last Monday and this is the first time i've been online since then and here is why...

Last Monday night, I made a couple trades and then took a break to walk to the local Turkey Hill Mini-Mart to get something to drink (we were out of iced tea and Allentown water is nasty). I get a block away for the TH and some idiot blows through a stop sign with no headlights on and hits me. No horn, no brakes, and throws my 255 pound frame about 15 feet to the pavement from the middle of the street. All I remember were the sounds of bones cracking, glass breaking, and the thud when I hit the ground right before I lost consciousness.

When I woke up, it was Tuesday, I felt sore all over, and was having a hard time breathing. I was in the hospital and had just come out of surgery. They had to remove 1 of my ribs, another 3 were broken, my left lung was punctured and had collapsed, severe concussion, and a broken left wrist. In fact, my left arm right now is basically useless. The pain has been going down a little each day but I still can't use my arm and i'm still having trouble breathing. Friday my left lung collapsed again and they had to open me back up. That was when a 2nd rib had to come out.

I have to give alot of thanks to my brother Danny, he went above and beyond the call of duty today. Not only did he bring me his laptop to use while i'm here, he also brought me a portable DVD player and the new Viva La Bam Season 2 and 3 DVD.

Anyway, the reason i'm putting this up is my wife will be mailing all outstanding cards tomorrow afternoon. Gar, she's also going to find out what's up with that Soriano Jersey card I sent out. I haven't even cashed the money order yet. Not sure how much longer i'm gonna be online tonight, but i'm working on my Bedridden Trade List.

This thing is just beautiful. The price tag said $10. I asked her why she spent $10 on it and she tells me, 'I didn't, I got him down to 5 because I told him there was a scratch on it.' When I asked here where it was, she said there wasn't, but it's jsut the power of suggestion and he dropped to $5 like a stone.

Just checked Beckett's Online Guide, it books for $80. lol
