    Help! I Need Some Advice!

Since my b-day is coming up, I know I'll be getting some extra $$$ to spend. So I'm either thinking of getting some boxes of Certified or Artifacts?

I'm leaning towards Artifacts, although I've seen some GARBAGE autos pulled from this set, what do you guys think I should do?

Series 1 is coming out soon, and there's a great rookie crop. I say you buy that when it comes out. It'll probably be cheaper too.

I like Artifacts over Certified, much better patches. Don't write off older products either. Lots of good rookies in 09-10 stuff too.

I have crushed Artifacts so you should probably buy certified since all the good cards are gone from Artifacts!! Haha jk I would open Artifacts if I was you, or if you can get one of each so you don't have to decide!

    Bday money

Honestly, Don't buy boxes. Take the money and buy singles for your PC.

You can make that moeny go one heck of a lot further that wasy, then breaking a wax and hoping to hit something worthwhile.

And after seeing Artifacts as sompared to Certified ( broke 1 case of each), hands down artifacts.

    UNLESS you love parallels......lol

I would say, of the two, Certified. I had a great time with my break this weekend, and if you pull one of the big RCs you've got the jackpot. Artifacts looks awful this year: same old subsets, same players, the only thing new is the ugly design. Certified's a breath of fresh air.

That said, why not go for some UD1 and get yourself some YGs?

I'd wait for Series 1 personally. Artifacts just isn't worth it unless you get a Hall RC Redemption, decent Auto, and a low numbered patch, and Certified, in my opinion, isn't worth the cardboard it's printed on... This year with Series 1 it seems that we'll have at least 5 solid RC's that will hold their value(Hall, Eberle, Paajarvi, Skinner, Seguin), unlike last year when you had Tavares who went crazy and it really fell off after that.

wait for series 1. It's pretty much a staple in hockey collecting and you can never go wrong with the young guns and you never know, you might pull an exclusive young gun or better yet a high gloss young gun!
