    1st Requirement - Autographed Items Owned :
Majority of my collection is shown on my website, but I put a special page together for this application showing the majority of my items. I have not inventoried in awhile but would guess I have around 800 signatures on over 600 items.

    2nd Requirement- Game Worn/Used :
I have the following Game Worn / Used memorabilia:
    • GU Ball hit by Al Kaline
    • GU Ball hit by Dmitri Young
    • GU Omaha Red Hawks Jersey worn by Kelly Dransfeldt
    • GU Chicago Cubs Jersey worn by Matt Stairs (Not Pictured)

    • GU Northwestern Wildcats Jersey from mid 1990's.

    3rd Requirement- Miscellaneous Memorabilia :
I have an entire USFL Mini Helmet set, An antique hockey game featuring the Leafs and Canadians.

    4th Requirement- No Cards
I do have many autographed cards, that are custom made and sent out. I do have others as well. Auto'd cards make up about half of my collection, but I do have other items as shown, pictures, jerseys, helmets, balls, etc.

    5th Requirement- Proof
    Check out my site.

    6th Requirement- Post Count
I believe this post will be #716.

7th Requirement - A Little Information on Your Collection
My collection is very eclectic, but focuses mainly on Baseball, Football, Hockey and NASCAR. Living near Chicago, I am a big Cubs, Bears, Blackhawks, and Rush fan, but also cheer for the Sox and Bulls. My first auto was an IP of Ernie Banks in 1977, but I didn't become a hardcore auto'd memorabilia collector until 1994, which is when my current collection took off. Currently, I am making a lot of custom cards and sending them off TTM.

7th Requirement - A Little Information on Your Collection:

I started collecting before I went into the military. When I retired somehow everything I had obtained was MIA (missing in action), so I started from scratch in the mid 90's. My favorite item is my Muhammad Ali boxing glove. I've met a lot of very nice people while obtaining graphs but Mr. Ali was the most genuine person I've met. The reason I pretty much only collect HOF'ers is because I want to collect the best of the best in every sport. At least 85%-90% of my graphs are IP. The other 10%-15% come from Steiner/TriStar/UDA, a couple from the players foundations and a few from a couple of good friends who live close to bigger cities where some of the larger shows are located. In September of 2009 the promoter in my area (Upstate NY) stopped doing shows so now I've got a 6-7 hour round trip to attend a decent show. That's when I turned to collecting game-used cards. I'm an IP grapher first and a cards guy second. I only live a little over a half hour from Cooperstown but I hate to pay the jacked up prices for those signings, plus it's a zoo with everyone there for the inductions. I'm trying to get as many living HOF'ers as I can get. For each athlete I get an 8x10 or 16x20 depending on who it is along with a baseball, mini helmet, puck depending on the sport. Because of the cost I will sometimes only get the HOF inscription on the ball/mini/puck and not on the photo. Sometimes on none at all because of the cost. You would think a player would be proud to put a HOF inscription for free but I guess not. I will only buy from companies who conduct their own signings and who do not buy from outside sources. I have zero trust in any of the authenticating companies so my collection will never include any deceased players unless they pass away after I've gotten them in person, which unfortunately has already happened. The next year I plan on getting an MJ jersey along with a 16x20 and a Tiger 16x20 along with a pin flag. I'd really like to add a Jeter and a Mariano ball along with 16x20's of both. I may wait until they are inducted into the HOF so I can get that inscription but I might get 16x20's of both without the HOF inscription and get some other inscription. I really, really, really need to get Curly Neal's auto on a 16x20 that I already have signed by Meadowlark Lemon.
