What Will November Bring For Habs?
http://habsinsideout.com/boone/liveblog/38974
October was a good month for your Montreal Canadiens: 7-3-1, goal differential of plus-4, 10 solid starts for Carey Price.
The team is in Columbus tonight, looking to build on an impressive 4-1 road record.
It won't be easy. Nothing is for the Canadiens.
But D (they're the only team that hasn't given up more than three goals in regulation) and discipline (the Canadiens are among the least-penalized teams in the league) have offset an anemic power-play and a sluggish start by Scott Gomez and Brian Gionta.
The October schedule was not demanding, and November will be different:
Two games against Philadelphia, plus dates with Boston, Vancouver, Nashville and L.A. Plus the dastardly Leafs at the Bell Centre for a Saturday night showdown on the 20th.
Month II begins tonight at Nationwide Arena in Ohio's hockey hotbed.
Puck drops 7:10ish. Check back later for live game blogging.
It was a good start - not a lot of negatives, many positives. It's going to get tougher and I'm sure that the rollercoaster ride is about to really take off.
Habs fan and collector! Current PC's: Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, and Lane Hutson...., and of course...
