If any PG is gonna win it, it'll be Deron Williams.

did john stockton ever win MVP????

No Stockton never did win MVP but he had Jordan, Ewing, Bird, Malone, Miller, Barkley, etc to go up against.

Recently Steve Nash won back 2 back MVP awards so the idea of 'pass first' PG winning the award is not absurd. Although I think Rondo is still nowhere near the skill set of a CP3 or Deron Williams, he may have a chance in the future.

Rondo wont win any accolades until he is the big man on campus. So, while KG, Pierce, and Allen are in Boston; Rondo will be a mere after thought for any personal awards.

I don't know man. He's only averaging 11 points a night. You'll never see an MVP who averages 11 points a night.

If any PG's were gonna win MVP, there's at least 3-4 in front of Rondo right now, IMO. Williams, Rose, Westbrook, CP3.

that is like saying Shaq was never an MVP caliber player during his prime. The guy couldn't hit a game winning jump shot or hit a clutch free throw.

When you can't depend on a guy to knock down a winning jumpshot or hit the clutch free throws you can't expect him to be considered an MVP... He could be most valuable during the first three quarters and in the fourth but in the final seconds...nope.... not MVP caliber yet

Shaq wasn't a perimeter player like Rondo
