I covered the Canada Winter Games in 2007 in Whitehorse when I was with The Canadian Press ... Stamkos did indeed play in that tournament (for Team Ontario) and looked like a man among boys.

Ontario won it all, and their team was STACKED. Stamkos, Alex Pietrangelo, Cody Hodgson, Michael Del Zotto, Nazem Kadri, Stefan Della Rovere ... unreal.
