Am I missing something? Ebay craziness...
Just had to share this somewhere. Not complaing, but....
I decided to sell off some of my Steelers collection on Ebay. Figured I'd get a few bucks for some auto'd memorablia, but didn't expect this. Maybe Beckett needs to revise some prices:
2004 Contenders Willie Parker RC Auto
BV: $25
Sold for: $24
2004 Absolute Randle El/Ward/Bettis JSY
BV: $15
Sold for: $23
2004 Leaf R&S Longevity Willie Parker 1/25
BV: $25
Sold for: $32
2004 SPGU Hines Ward 3 Color Patch
BV: $8
Sold for: $25
2004 LCM FOTG Mel Blount JSY #/100
BV: $15
Sold for: $36.75
The others I sold went for a little over half BV. Hopefully I'll get payment, even if I don't, there's a couple second chance offers available.

Well I can answer that question sometimes true collectors will actually pay over the bv to get the cards they really need like some of those hard /25 cards, but otherwise he didnt do his homework first.

That's why you don't listen to Beckett... cards are worth what they're worth, not what Beckett says.

yes indeed, in most cases that is absolutly correct unless the card isnt worth the beckett, (minor creases etc..)
