Team sets?
It occured to me the other day that I have never seen a packaged team set of hockey teams. I've bought sets of baseball and football teams, but have yet to find any hockey. Do they make sets like this or is it something a collector basically has to piece together himself? Thanks!

Score's doing them this year. I've got a Habs set incoming. Also, some teams have giveaways at the arena of a set. Here's last year's Habs:

They're pretty much the same as the staple UD set, except without the foil and numbered MTL-1 to MTL-7 on the back. Cammalleri was also a short-print.
Habs fan and collector! Current PC's: Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, and Lane Hutson...., and of course...

Okay, nice! Think they'll do a Wild set? I'd like to snatch that up quick if I can.

Absolutely I do: http://cgi.ebay.com/2010-11-Score-WI...-/390259191571
As for the UD version, one can hope but you'd have to check with the team's official store to find out.

years ago this was really common (I'm thinking early 90s). The new Score, like Rich pointed out, is the only one recently that I think has done them.

The best "team sets" were the products that were exclusively aimed at one team. In 2003-04, ITG made products for the Blackhawks, Maple Leafs, Canadiens, Red Wings, (maybe Rangers, and Bruins, though I have never seen those in person). ALso, in 2008-09, Upper Deck released a product exclusively devoted to the Montreal Centennial year.
