    TNA Live

Went to the TNA Live event in Nashville last night and it was pretty fun. I was a little disappointed halfway through they had a ridiculously long intermission to sell merch and take some people backstage but I may have been okay if I had been going backstage.
Started out with Raven over AJ Styles. The stip. was that if Raven won that JB would give out backstage passes throughout the show. If AJ won nobody deserved to go back anyways. AJ is still big here even though he was great in heel mode.
Next up was Madison Rayne over Velvet Sky. Didn't pay too much attention to this one except for Sky's entrance.
Abyss over EY. EY hit an impressive scoop slam on Abyss near the end of the match. He's been working out..haven't seen him on tv much to notice.
Motor City Machine Guns beat Beer Money & Ink Inc in a pretty good match. Everyone got their moves in for the most part, after the match Storm thanked everyone and praised the other wrestlers.
Next was the intermission. Madison Rayne did sign autographs at the merchandise table but we decided to find a seat since we stood throughout the first part.
Jeff Jarrett over Samoa Joe. Mixed reaction for both. Jarrett was playing the heel up but too many people still cheer for him. Joe's kick to the back of the head looks better live than on tv.. Decent match.
Last was scheduled to be Anderson..Anderson vs Jeff Hardy but Ken came out to tell us Jeff hit him the hardest he's ever been hit with a chair and this is no storyline (if you saw the Impact show where it happened he hit him high on his back and the chair nicked the back of his head. Nasty looking hit but mistakes happen I guess) and he had a concussion. TNA cares about their wrestlers so he can't fight tonight. Anyways, he picks the Pope to be his replacement. Pope wouldn't shake his hand. Jeff came out to more boos than cheers even though half the crowd was wearing something representing Hardy. I really enjoyed this match. Would have been a good tv match which I did not really expect. Hardy won after a 2 twist of fates and a swanton. During the match he kept doing his gun salute but changing it to the bird. I don't like this because the kids still love him. After the match he did throw out his armbands.
JB announces backstage is coming to us..ended up being half a dozen wrestlers. I heard MMG were out..never saw them. Ink Inc were out but only got Jesse Neal. Beer Money were out and only got Storm. Abyss signed and I missed him. They had Hardy in the ring the whole time posing for pictures for $20 with the new belt. There were easily 250 people that took pictures but most were in groups. I waited 30 minutes for him to finish up hoping he would stay a bit to sign. I didn't expect it but was happily wrong again. I had taken a poster from WWE No Way Out to get signed and he signed it as well as a poster from a magazine and my program. I got lucky because he only stayed about 7 minutes or so to sign. There were over 50 at ringside trying to get up to him. Jarrett and Velvet Sky were signing at the merch table but the line was about 100 people long still after Jeff was done.

Overall it was a good experience. If you have kids I highly recommend going to one of these shows. If I was a kid I would have had a blast and got to meet a few of my favorite wrestlers. I dunno why but we got a babysitter...if I'd brought my son we'd have backstage passes.
