Question: Young Gun High Gloss
Hey guys, i just have a question about high gloss cards. Im aware they usually are pretty hard to find, especially depending on who it is you are trying to get. But my question is, are the older young gun HGs more valuable and harder to get due to their age? I was at my LCS today and i bought a couple of 03-04 Young Gun High Gloss cards, just wondering if they have much resale value. Any input is appreciated. Thanks,
Jason

When products are first released it is always easier to find the rare cards since everyone is breaking them. But depending on who it is, they could be worth a pretty penny if you find the right collector thats been searching for it for a while.

If you buy them, I wouldn't suggest paying a lot. Even yesterday at the Expo in Toronto I saw a Joe Jensen Young Guns HG/10 selling for $10 and on the ebay completed listings, Robbie Earl YG HG/10 closed around $6.50.

I would say unless the player ever has a bit of a hot streak going, then you might be able to sell them for a higher price. But personally, I wouldn't pay over $10.
