    card show pickups

    Me and my brother took a trip to toronto for there sports card show. Heres what i picked up

    Great cards. The '53 Bowman is one of my favorites, and the Friendly Foes is such a neat card. Overall a really nice bunch of cards. That '72 Kaline is so vibrant, and with a wonderful picture of the old Yankee Stadium in the background before the revamping it did in the mid 1970's.

    thanks for the great comments. the clemente, banks, and half the kilbrews are opeechee. i figured while in canada id try to pick up some candian cards. Was a great show the biggest ive ever been to. most of the booths were hockey which was good for my brother because thats all he collects. But there was a good selection of vintage baseball just wish i had moore money to spend.

    But there was a good selection of vintage baseball just wish i had moore money to spend.

    I know the feeling. I have been to 2 Nationals, both a long time ago, one in 1986 and one in 1990, and the stuff there, wow, if only i had a suitcase full of money with me!!!!!

    Still, its great to go to a big show, and you got good stuff.
