PK Subban Too Cocky?
Just wanted to know what everyone thinks of this article? I would think it's a good thing to have this confidence. You can see the swagger in Subban's game and it shows through his skill cause he is pretty awesome out there. I feel Kadri has this confidence as well which translates into showing skill on the ice and the Leafs pretty much need more of this.

i saw the flyers/canadiens game the other night. even as a flyers fan i have to say i enjoyed watching subban play in the conference finals last year. but when richards was ready to fight the other night and subban stuck his nose in there, that says to me that he may be a bit on the overconfident side (i wont say "cocky" as i have no issue when guys play with confidence and i think hes gonna be a heck of a player). i just have a gut feeling that someone on philly (shelley, carcillo, some other guy they can do without for 5 minutes) is gonna put him on his you-know-what very early in the game to send a message.

We'll take the powerplay and do more of what we did last night.
Simply put, haters are gonna hate.
P.K., being P.K., brushes it all off with characteristic good humour and eloquence.
“I just go out there and play hard and respect the players,” added Subban. “I don’t go out there and try and hurt anybody. I just play the game.”
He talks out there, he's got fire and passion in his guts, and that's going to rub some guys the wrong way.
Quite frankly, when I hear a guy like Mike Richards running his mouth about needing to respect other players, I laugh. That's hypocrisy at its finest coming from a guy that deliberately targets other player's heads when they're not looking.
Habs fan and collector! Current PC's: Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, and Lane Hutson...., and of course...

If anyone didn't notice... P.K. was actually trying to be the peacemaker and by keeping apart Richards and I don't remember who else (sorry... I forgot his name.) He was not instigating or being cocky, and when things got more heated Subban stood up for his teammate.
It's not being cocky, it's simply sticking up for a friend. I give 2 thumbs up to Subban for a classy move. IMO

This is a slippery slope...if Subban played passively and without the edge he'd likely get his show run...As long as he backs it up I dont see a problem with it.

Totally agree with you Rich.
I love Subban. He's exactly what the Canadiens needed.

Huge Subban fan here. I think he's just doing what he needs to do out there. He's a phenominal young player and his future in the NHL looks bright, as long as he can back up what he's saying he's good to go.
