Help on valuing a 1/1 Skybox LE
Looking for help on valuing what 1/1 cards are going for. Specifically, a Ben Watson Skybox LE rookie numbered 1/1 and signed by Lloyd Pawlak, EVP of Fleer/Skybox......anybody know what this is fairly worth? Have a possible deal in place, but just looking for a little education. Thanks!

well, an Edgerrin James LE 1/1 patch just sold for $150.00 on ebay, and on ebay cards usually sell for around 50% BV so you could put a $300 BV tag on that... His regular jersey books at $8 so you could say that adding roughly a 37x multiplier on any normal jersey card would state the value of the 1/1... so, if you apply that 37x multiplier to the ben watson which books at $20 already, you would have ummmm $740 which is way too much which further goes to prove how my equations are irrelevant.
I would put a $150 tag on it personally.

Wow, I liked the linear calculation much better......hehehe. Thanks for the input. I felt that around $150 would be right. Have a box of 2004 UD Legend and Skybox LE waiting for me in trade. Figuring wholesale cost to the person that wants the card, that seems about right.......

Misspoke in my prior post......2004 UD Legend and a box of Sweet Spot 2004......and ended up pulling a Kevin Jones Sweet Panel Sig and a John Elway Legend auto out of the other box. Interesting for you bengal fans......the other sig card was a Ken Anderson Sweet Spot, and I also got a Ken Anderson Legend auto. The third Legend auto was a Mercury Morris. Saw the back of the card when I was opening the pack, saw the Dolphin logo and thought it was a Marino. Getting the Elway made me feel a little better though!
