At the time those were made, had Hossa even worn a Hawks jersey? I see he is in a photo probably chopped on the card. I always wonder about those cutting up real Auth jerseys. They're ruining a $200 jersey to get another $50 on an auction? lol. yes, I know they do many from one jersey.

Nice $3, The US FED reserve is the only entity that can take a valuable commodity like paper, print something on it and make it worthless. Unlike UD, who takes a common product like cardboard, puts threads on it and makes it into 4 figure money.

They don't cut up the 2 or 4 hundred dollar jerseys, they cut up the $30 Chinese knock-offs that you find all over the internet

    +1

or Iv seen fakes in which ebay sellers chop up baseball caps and put the team logo from the cap, in the card
    Thats just desperate...
And it looks fairly obvious to the knowledgable buyer.

At least after being called out the seller pulled the listing! Must have received 100s of PMs about it through ebay from the 713 views the auction has received. I sent him this message:

    Dear ilovenyr,

Just to let you know but this patch is a fake patch! Real Hawks patches are not like that. Do some research before selling, buying etc!

    - emersondrive13rocks

BTW I don't believe the seller was the one who faked the patch. He likely bought it from the person that faked it thinking it was a real patch. The seller has 100% positive feedback and looking at the other items the seller has for sale there are no patch cards listed.
