    Experienced Trader But New To SCF

    I'd like to introduce myself to the members of SCF. I go by the nickname Spud and I am a longtime hockey fan - played junior hockey in the Ottawa Valley and senior hockey in Northern Alberta back in the 1970s. Had my jaw broken twice (pushed into a goal post and cross-checked in the mouth).

    When my parents passed away in 2004 and 2006 I inherited all of my father's sports cards, mostly 1990s stuff from hockey, baseball, football and basketball. Starting in 2005 I began to continue my father's hockey collection and I love it. I am an ardent Habs fan and have lots to cheer about this year.

    I am a set collector (not a player or team collector) and only trade for cards online (I never sell cards and have only ever bought 2 cards on ebay). I hope to make new SCF friends with similar hobby interests. I have a few freinds from the trading site I came from and hope they are here. Over the weekend I will make a few posts to get started, hopefully learning along the way how to enable my avatar and banner, as well as post card scans (have two 1of1s in my collection that I'd like to post in that special forum for example).
