So I'm very confused at this point...mine, which I got back on Thursday, looks quite different than all the examples posted. There's no gap towards the bottom of the "R", the loop on the "T" is all but non-existant, the "-ony" of "Tony" look very different, and its signed in silver.

Then again, I could just be in denial, ha.

haha, sounds like it might be legit. any chance you could post a scan?

Best I can do is a cell phone pic; will see if I can get one up tomorrow. Unfortunately, it probably won't be of much help.

Here is my Phony Romo return... Upon close inspection, pretty clear to see the auto-pen dots. What a shame but just another reason for me to dislike "america's" team..

i just thought of something based on a post I read a long time ago. Someone said that they contacted an actor's agent saying that he was disappointed that the actor autopenned his autograph and asking for a real one. The agent was reportedly surprised that the person knew it was an autopen. Do you think the stars just autopen because they think they can get away with it? Like if they knew that their fans could tell the difference on a large scale, would they still do it?

I'm pretty sure they still would, but it was a thought I had that I thought bore discussing. Maybe start a new thread?
