2002 Premier Date Datsyuk replacement card - worth anything?

I have 2001-2002 Vanguard Premier Date Pavel Datsyuk card but it has no date and has no serial number. All it has is the Premier Date stamp where the serial number and actual date should be.

So it this card worth anything?

    Thanks,

Interestingly, I discovered I have a Ray Whitney one like that yesterday.

I'm guessing this was something that came out of their 'vault' after the company went under?

I've bought cards similar to this in the past. I've always liked them (neat little oddball item) but some people don't. They were never supposed to be released like that.

That's ecactly what they are. They used to keep extras in case someone returned a damaged one, then add the same serial. Some companies could learn a lesson from them....

That would be cool, but actually I was told there was 5 of everyone made. Same with most of the 'Premier Date' Pacific cards. I had always thought that someone at 'Pacific Trading Co.' just put them out on the market after they closed down.

I picked up the 01-02 Adrenaline Datsyuk too at the same time.

I suspect when they went under, the vault got raided and sold off at auction.... when selling off the assets to pay back creditors.

I have some Pinnacle cards like that. Seller said it was a 1/1 but with no stamp on the card I can't be sure. Could be /5 as well. Only paid $10 for it.

Any pacific replacement cards that say Premier Date, but show nothing in regard to numbers are extremely rare. I was told when I called Pacific in 2001, that in many cases 10 or less cards printed.

It's hard to authenticate the rareness with Pacific gone T-U, but they are very, very limited.
