    Your BOLD Predictions...

The season is a quarter of the way through, players have found their niche and playoff spots are harder to come by. By looking at what has happened, name some events that you think will happen come playoff time.

    My thoughts

-Phoenix will be a top 4 seed again in the West, and will not play Detroit in the first round. If they are that high, they will get into the 2nd round of the playoffs.
    - The Dallas ownership issue will not be resolved until... March?
-If Jimmy Howard keeps his numbers up and gets a couple more shut outs, he will be in serious consideration for Vezina
-Jonathan Quick will get 40 wins...
-Stamkos will miss 50 goals in 50 games by 1/2 games

Given this one trend the last 3 years I can only make this prediction.

Either the Penguins or the Capitals will make it to the Finals.

I base this on the Winter Classic. Every year, one team from the classic ends up in the Finals. But in the 3 years of the Winter Classic, the 2 winners have lost in the Finals, and the Flyers lost both the WC and SCF.
