Does this make sense?
Ok, here are two cards from this years OPC Premier.

eBay is a funny thing like that. Some card have bidding wars between two people. It happens quite often. Other times, and again quite often great cards go for very little. You've witnesses each end of the spectrum :)
Decent buy for $50.

The only reason I could think of is that it's a rookie-year card for all three players on the first card, but for only one on the second.
I'm really just guessing.......it might just be one of those weird Ebay things. That's a very high price for that first card.

for me it does:)
1st- Gustavsson is way better goalie than Crosby
2nd-Hedman is a better d-man than Stamkos
3rd- Karlsson owns tavares in defence any day

I think there has been quite a lot of weirdness recently. A friend of mine tells me that the non-sports card market is slow at the moment, so I wonder whether the hockey card market is as well and the Sweden card is an anomaly? I've certainly picked up a few things insanely cheap.

It makes plenty of sense. There are quite a few guys who collect Gustavsson, Hedman, and Karlsson. Collecting those players you have a decent chance of actually getting most cards in your PC. I don't know anyone who could say the same thing for Crosby, Stamkos, or Tavares. There are people who collect them, but never on the same level as a normal player.
