Oh no...damage!
Just have to vent my frustration here...bought a Stamkos OPC Premier base #/225 off eBay, from a seller with an extraordinary amount of good feedback (60k+!) and wouldn't you know it...it's damaged.
The other two cards I bought at the same time were OK, and everything was well-packaged and delivered here relatively quickly. But the Stamkos card looks like someone took a piece of sandpaper to three of the edges - the front is reasonable, but the back certainly is not.
You wait all that time and that happens...
I have contacted the seller but I bet they say I can have a refund if I return it...which will cost about as much as the refund. I'll just have to see. Sigh.

So...how did this story end? I contacted the seller, who was hugely apologetic and offered a refund if I returned the card, or a partial refund if I didn't. As it would cost virtually what I paid for the card to return it, I said I didn't really have a choice but to take the latter. At which point they offered me a free card as a replacement. Brilliant! Really polite and a great outcome.

I would say that is a fair deal. You never know how the card will arrive, even if it is well packaged. Sounds like a very reliable e bayer.

Glad to see it came out good on your end. There are some great sellers on ebay and looks like your found a good one. Let us know what your free card is when you get it.

That was very nice of them :)
Always like hearing stories like this. It just proves that not every card seller on ebay sulks and get angry if something goes wrong.
