Why note cards?
I understand 8x10's, balls, helmets, but what do you guys do with notecards?
How do you display them to look nice? If you have some pictures please post them. Or if they are on here already please post a link.
Thanks guys!!

Not sure why everyone else uses them, but I like to give lots of room for the player to add inscriptions, and I like the way the signature stands out against a white background. I also like the fact that they cost $1.50 for 100 of them.

they're cheap, versatile (can be used for cuts, customs or look great framed with a picture) and the auto looks great - really pops out at you

The big reason for index cards is that they are blank. It is easy to find the index card vs looking for a photo of the player when he is right there. You then can later fram the index with a photo and have a nice display. Just think you are a fan of a player who trades teams. Swap the photo out and it is current. Some events work great with index cards and I always suggest that you bring an undex card or two when you go to an sporting event. You never know who you might catch in the stands or who may be joining the team that day.

if you are going to a game always bring a few in case you dont know who the player is or have nothing for them to sign.
They are really like a backup for me.

About 2 years ago, I started using 2 Index cards to protect my cards I was sending and the player signed the IC which I thought was a bonus. Ever since them I have always used ICs and have about 200 of them signed. They do look great and they are really nice for guys who do not have many cards available especially the newer golfers. For example Rory McIlroy. If he signs the IC....you can make a custom card (I think someone mentioned that). And I agree with the other guys that more times than not a signature on a nice white index cards stands out 10 fold then on most sports cards.

Thanks guys. I decided to send out some index cards since it was cheaper than sending out balls.
I plan on framing some of them with 8x10's to hang up.
This place is great and is getting me back into collecting autographes like I did when I was a kid.
