Oilers Talk Move to Quebec City

    ProSports Daily.com

"Top Edmonton Oilers executives, including President of Hockey Operations Kevin Lowe, are to meet Quebec City Mayor Regis Labeaume Wednesday to discuss possible relocation, QMI has learned.

Oilers President and CEO Patrick Laforge and Paul Marcaccio, with the Katz ownership group, have also travelled east as talks to build a new and profitable arena in Edmonton remain stalled.

"Relocation is not being discussed in Edmonton. Todays meeting with Q.City is simply an exchanging of strategies for similar arena projects"

Dreger is usually bang on with his reporting, hes probably one of if not the most reliable reporter when it comes to NHL news.

The Oilers won't be going anywhere.

LOL why did I know that would be your reaction hehehe....

If anything I think Lowe and the gang are just trying to scare Edmonton but I don't see the Oilers go anywhere either they've got way too much history there

lol what in England? Forget it the trains are paralysed, the pavements are death traps as they are all icy and they dont use salt or grit on them, they keep the limited supplies for the road...love the handling of snow here it's hilarious...In fact for a laugh read my blog from last year: https://www.sportscardforum.com/blog.php?b=176

But yes, 13 days to go now! 13 little days until I am back in a country that can actually survive snow woo hooo!
