What would you consider this trader good bad or medium?
I recived a package i made a trade for. there was no delivery conformation like we agreed apon and It wasn't sent in a bubble mailer. It was not sent in a white envelop witch is very good. it was just sent in one of those manila envelops you put papers in . The package looked ruff but the card was not damaged. Im not leaning tords a bad trader but just though i would ask you guys. He did wrap the card in bubble wrap but the card was almost falling out of the manila envelop at the bottom.

ok I did find out he used dc but there was no dc sticker on the package and he never emailed me the dc number. So i never new there was dc on the package. He didn't give me the number until i posted about the trade but i also could not contact him via email because it kept getting bounced back but i think that was a hotmail problme and not him ignoring my emails. I told him that i was not saying he was a bad trader but that alot of the hassle could have been avoided if he had used a bubble mailer instid of the menila envelope because a bubble mailer would have been alot better and probly would not have been riped open from the shipping like the thin menila envelope was and the post office had to tape it up. I do not know what happed to the dc sticker but when i got the package there was not one. but he did send with dc.

In my opinion, you need to pick your battle wisely. He did his best to get the card to you in good condition. And about the ripping of the envelope, i've had bubble mailers rip open on me, and i lost the card. The sorters they use are not kind.
It really depends on how much effort you want to put into it, because he will contest it, then you get admins envolved and these leads to unessesary anger.

Really, a bubble mailer is nothing more than a manilla envelope with bubble wrap inside. It sounds like your card could have been shipped more carefully, but it also sounds like he tried to get it to you safely (and it did get to you safely). If properly packed, in my opinion, a manilla envelope is a viable shipping option.
Just let the guy know (which you already have) that you wish he had packed a little more cautiously. I bet he will the next time. No harm, no foul.

i agree... i have recieved cards packaged that way and have no problem with it... sounds more like a PO problem than his... envelopes can get damaged no matter what kind of envelope it is

Id have to agree, you got it, and it appeared to be ok....
As long as it was a trade, and not paying $3.00 shipping on ebay and getting a white envelope with a "Card SaverII" those are the WORST TYPES OF PEOPLE!!!!
How can you feel good about yourself charging that much for shipping, and sending it like I described....anyone else have this problem??

Yeah the good rule of thumb is if you got the card in the shape it was promised and in a fair amount of time((excessive to most is 2+ months)) then there is little reason not to leave a positive. Just my thoughts from past experiences :D

Also all those that think a menila envelope is the same with the card bubble wraped are way wrong the card i traded for is for a set of 04 sweet spot those cards don;t even fit in alot of holders the it was bubble wraped that made it bigger and the menila envelop was streched out pretty big to start off with. The menila envelope he used is very thin the bubble mailers are at least 1 to 2 times thicker even if they didn;t have the bubble's. and bubble mailers are made from a diffren;t texture than the paper thin menila. Also if the person i was tradeing with was up front with me about it what he was sending in it might be diffren;t but i would have told him i would perfer that he use bubble mailer.
