    Nice pickups

Just curious, when you go to a cardshow.. how much do you actually spend? And are the cards reasonably priced? How many card sellers are there..? Is it just like a huge area filled with rare cards? or do sellers have everything from commons to autos?

Having no card stores or shows here at all... im just curious :)

    Thanks gooner,

There are all types of cards at card shows. Not too many dealers had commons though(prob. because it is generally not worth the effort to lug them with you).
The hot players and cards were sold around book price but I was able to pay about 1/4 to 1/2 BV on most of the cards I bought.
Unfortunately attendance at card shows (except the major ones) is usually poor, often due to poor marketing of shows as one dealer noted.

1/4 - 1/2 isnt bad, for a good card on ebay you'd pay usually atleast or around that. Im guessing you can barter abit with the dealers to try and swindle down prices or buy more n they give you better deals?

Whats the biggest card show of the year and when is it?

The National! It's usually in July. Hundreds, maybe thousands, of dealers are there. PSA, BGS, all the major card companies set up. It's like going to Disney World. You really need more than one day to see everything. It's really a blast.

i see that you had put the 04-05 Topps Chrome set together... do you happen to have any extra commons that you would be willing to trade/sell? i have some regular refractors that i would be willing to trade for ones that i need for my set...

    lmk, thanks!
