    fight strap question

i was surfing Ebay and i found this...while being a poor college kid, i can't really buy it even though i want too, but it got me thinking...

I thought the NHL added fight straps in the mid-late 1990's (the rob ray rule). So how could Gil Perreault have a fight strap on his jersey?? Is this card just a piece of the jersey with a misleading title? Or did some jerseys have fight straps that long ago?

Also, to my knowledge Perreault only had one major fight where he dropped the guy with one hit. Not sure why he is on a "fight strap" insert lol
Please check my inventory before my photobucket!!! It's more up to date!!!
