I don't know how you can think that it won't continue for Thomas. As you said yourself he's playing for a better team and also he is barely more than a season removed from winning the Vezina in 08/09

I think Thomas is having an amazing year, but I guess you just never know. He's 36 now, so I'd have to think that fatigue and/or an injury are both a stronger possibility for him than they might be for a younger goalie.

If you look at Thomas's career splits, he has also been historically stronger in October and November (.936 and .928 save percentages) than in other months - his numbers actually go quite steadily down each month to .912 and .907, which I think is a pretty good indicator that you probably shouldn't expect .955 all year.

If they gave awards out on December 9th, Thomas wins the Vezina. But they don't, so who's to say? Could be him, could be Price, could be a guy stuck on Atlanta putting up ridiculous numbers for a team that gives up way too many scoring chances every game.
