i feel like, despite the good point of the language issue, that a little girl holding a pen and a ball crying transcends any language barrier...

I'm sure that little girl really even knew what she was crying about. She was probably crying because her dad told her if she got a ball signed for him he'd get her ice cream and she was upset that now they weren't going to get ice cream.
Every 5 year-old I have ever encountered hasn't given a lick about who signs their ball unless someone is telling them what to do.

yeah the silver lining to that night was I saw him pitch. He didn't hit 105 but he definitely hit triple digits a few times. It was freezing that night so maybe he didn't get fully loose to really let it rip.

Oh, cool! They have old school players at RedsFest? George Foster used to be one of my favorites. Back in the day, I even got to sit with him behind the autograph table at a card show.
Nice haul on the autographs!

Eef97 that is a sweet Paul O'Neil ROMLB, I missed his line or was in another line when he signed. Nice job on all the Reds autos they look sweet! I love that 92 UD Heroes of Baseball card, that is the first time I have seen one like that. It looks good with the sigs on it as well.

Thanks, I was in a good spot to start the day Sat. A lady told us that on twitter O'Neill was signing in the HOF at noon and it was not announced. So when we ran in, we looked at the monitors and decided Paul O'Neill was the best choice. We ran over to HOF and was like #27 in line. After about 15 mins. I looked out and could not see the end of the line. People must have started talking about it. Paul was great though and very friendly. Can't wait for next year, even with the long lines, it was fun!
