Another fraudulent patch: Kopitar Cup Foundations circa 2006-07

    http://cgi.ebay.com/06-07-Cup-ANZE-K...item3363260a96

Unfortunately this one is just plain obvious and I am not sure if the seller even knows it and I am not going to accuse him personally of it.

I believe I have dealt with him before no problems so he may have been duped on this one, especially since it is from a product over 4 years old, plenty of time for this one to be on the market and altered.

All of these Kopitar foundation type cards from that year were numbers or letter pieces, straight up and down swatches, I saw/have seen at least 8 of them to date.

UD only used emblem type pieces this year in the auto version to 5 and event hose weren't anything this insane. Plus the swatches on here are from either from a replica jersey or an irregular sized patch, not typical of a Kings jersey.

Anyway, just passing this on, no biggie..........unless you're buying this one.

How is it possible for people to do this? Did UD use a glue stick on those swatches. Go get some Gorilla glue

Well, like I said I bought cards from him before, but nothing with patches, just a couple insert sets, so I had no reason to call him out directly.

But if he is a faker, good for him, he'll get caught, they all do.

I think this guy buys cards in bulk, some with patches that have been faked, either knowingly or unknowingly it still yet to be proven. His name has come up multiple times. I've bought off him before, but one time I had my suspicions before I paid for a card and contacted Jeremy to see if he could look up the card in his photo archive. Sure enough, it came out fake. I contacted the seller and he cancelled the sale and said he did not know the card was forged. Never saw the card again. I would stay away from this guy if the patch looks anywhere close near too good to be true.

If anyone is interested, here is a fake that I almost bought from him.
