Sergei Bobrovski?
A question was asked in another thread and should have its own standalone.
Why is it that Flyers goalie phenom (wow is it weird to write that) Sergei Bobrovski hasn't been in any of the rookie sets so far?
For Certified I can understand it, as the rookie redemptions all had auto-memorabilia cards - there just may have not have been enough time to get a jersey and/or the autos, but a set like Donruss doesn't have auto or memorabilia RCs (parallels do though) so why couldn't he be in that one?
Habs fan and collector! Current PC's: Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, and Lane Hutson...., and of course...

I'd guess that the checklist was already picked before the start of the season, and it was too late to change?

They've shown that they can be pretty quick with this sort of thing - they've already got Mike Modano as a Red Wing, after all.
The Certified part I get, it's the Donruss that has me confused.

Ranfordfan is right, sort of. The checklist had to be finalized after the first week of the season. Frustrating, believe me, but that's the way it had to be in order to get photos selected, card backs written, league and PA approvals and 20 other steps finished in time.
As for Bobrovsky, he'll appear in several upcoming sets--in fact, count on him in every set remaining this season.

Hey, I know that no matter the player, there are bound to be collectors out there wishing they had something to chase. I'm going to try to slip as many of those regional favourite types as I possibly can into at least one set. Hopefully everyone will come across someone they'll be happily surprised to see.
