I'm pretty sure he does not. And I also read he's pretty snarky if you ever see him in person too.

I had seen him sign years ago at the ABA 25th anniversary reunion event. He signed for 1hr for $100 a sig. There were all sorts of other former stars like Dampier, Issle and Gervin who signed for hours at $12 a shot at that event. I had seen Dr J earlier in the day walking with a few other ABA legends on the street in Indianapolis. I had my camera with me and asked, if I could please snap a photo of him. He actually turned his head towards the wall of the building he was beside and kept walking! I would like to assume that I had just caught him on a bad day, but he did not seem to excited by fan interaction. George Gervin on the other had won a real fan in me that day! He had ran late to the event and I left with my wife and daughter to catch some lunch. When I had returned the autograph portion of the event was over and they were about to start the auction. Mr. Gervin was hanging around I asked him for an autograph. He said he would gladly sign, but wanted the $12 as it was a charity event. I gladly gave him the fee and he responded that he would be sure the charity would get the fee. That would have been awesome enough, but he then saw us leaving. He asked, if we were staying for the auction. I was honest and told him that I could not afford the things that they were going to be auctioning off and that we were just heading out. To my surprise he followed us to the double doors and held one of them open as I held the other and my wife pushed out the stroller. He and his son Gee then talked sports with me for about ten to fifteen minutes outside the event before we parted ways with a handshake. It was awesome that he would have taken time from his busy day to just chat with a fan. I think he was just so down to earth and such a nice guy. Take a moment to check out his stats. He was a true legend on the court and a real gentleman off of it!
