    Basketball and Religion....and Inscriptions.

I really really really hope to see some images and hear your thoughts on non-catholic/christian inscriptions on cards.

I personally do not like it when players inscribe religious sayings like that. Im not christian, (im jewish), so its a little weird for me to understand some of the bible verses, and why they are writing those inscriptions instead of just saying "MVP" or "ROY." I guess if the inscription really is important to their way of life, I guess its okay...

thanks for the feedback maudio! would you be pick up Omri Casspi inscribed card, if it had some jewish inscriptions? Personally, I think all inscriptions are cool, and the religious ones are nice, cause they stand out from the regular "MVP, ROY, etc..." type of inscriptions.

thats funny you said that about Casspi, because I had that in my post but edited it out, (kinda hypocritcal on my part because I would buy it if it was inscribed with a jewish word or something...haha)

I thnk it's worse when a celebrity uses the world stage to voice there opinion on something say like world issues, but on cards it doesn't neccessarily bother me.

No problems for me if they're promoting their religion without bashing another. Here are the only religious inscriptions I own:

I really like these inscription autos. Give some personality to the cards and shows us what might be important to the players. The only inscriptions that offends me are when the athletes fail to inscribe anything even though it's suppose to be an inscription set or card.
