    Cold War II

I like this title better... The Big Chill sounds weird... lol

Anyway... 5-0 win by the Wolverines!

This game didn't scratch the record... or break the record... it SHATTERED the highest attendance amount at a hockey game, and the most to ever attend an event at Michigan Stadium as well... how about that?

Anyone else get to watch this spectacle?

I watched this, sadly. MSU got embarrassed in front of the largest ever hockey audience...it was a sad day. Oh well, at least we have football and basketball.

I think this can be considered one of the largest audiences in sports history... Depending on the capacity of some of the worlds largest soccer stadiums. This edged out the U of M/MSU football game earlier this year by 400 or so and is now the largest attendance at an event at the Big House. Just the atmosphere alone was better than a football game in my mind. If they only had towels to wave... Lol

Thanks for the info!, College sports aren't very big in Alberta so I wouldn't know.

Not even close, i decided to google it and it turns out the Indy 500 has topped 250 000 with the ability to hold 400 000. Also a World Cup game was above 199 000. Pretty Crazy though.
