    Photo Framing Tips?

I realize that some argue that the best way to preserve an auto'd photo is to keep it out of a frame, but I'd like to be able to display some of what I have. I've hung a couple with frames I purchased at Michaels, but as I'm learning more about the hobby I'm curious if if you guys have any tips on how I'd want to get these framed (mainly 8x10 signed in sharpie).

Do I need something with UV protection? Should these be matted a certain way?

This is what I prefer. Get an 11x14 frame with a 8x10 mat, I firmly believe that the auto should not touch the glass, I use double sided tape and tack the 8x10 on the sample picture that comes with the frame. Replace the glass with 1/10 inch UV plexiglass to prevent sun damage. Hang in a area that doesnt constantly get hit with sun light and you should be good. Ive done this with a few already but have a crap load more that need to be framed.
