USS New Orleans
I just learned recently that the ship i was stationed on from 91-94 has taken her last voyage and used for target training practice for the Navy and was sunk in the Pacific off the coast of Hawaii. She is now the artificial reef home to many fish...I get a weird feeling thinking about her at the bottom of the ocean.
I had alot of good times receiving unopened boxes in the mail while stationed on the New Orleans during operations off the coast of Somalia. Back then "Hits" were only inserts and most of those were not #'d and some were very hard to pull.
