my UD rant...!
well, its not really a rant per say...but man i hate calling their customer service dept!
i called a couple weeks ago about an outstanding redemption replacement, when i finally got to talk to someone (30 mins later) the guy says "sorry, my system is down (i worked at a call centre, thats code for i dont feel like doing any work right now) but what sport is it for?" i tell him hockey..."oh ok, well we're sending out those hockey replacements now, ok?" i say ok...ill call back another day when your system is up and running
so i call back today, over 4 months from when i should have had the replacement in hand (i know thats not a long time for UD)...after waiting 45 minutes on hold I GET HUNG UP ON!!!!!! so i call back thinking maybe, just MAYBE my fat cheek hit something...nope...i get a voice saying "we're sorry, the party you are calling is not accepting phone calls right now"...so i call back...same message...AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!

that sucks to hear man, i talked to the nicest guy today, very knowledgeable about the hobby, he knew what i was talking about when i mentioned it (staal rink signings with no auto), told me hed send out a replacement and transfer it over to shipping process, and i had a few damaged cards i put aside to make it worth while to send in, he didnt go into detail about what happened or what they were, just said send them in and hed take care of me. he suited his job, and i can honestly say i smiled after i hung up. unexpected, but very appreaciated, good customer service once in a while is always nice.

man i wish i had someone like that when i finally got through to someone...i got the usual "yeah, it should be there in about 2-3 weeks" i told him thats what the last guy said 2 months ago and he said "oh well, yeah, now they're doing hockey replacements so it'll be there hopefully by mid january"
i hung up feeling like i just got the run-around.....again. its just so frustrating...i know 4 months isnt long to wait, but it gets tiring when when in the initial replacement request you're told 4-6 weeks, then you're told 2-3, then another 2-3...and so-on and so-on
glad to hear you had a good experience though! :)
