Hello SCF, love the site!

I think my story goes as the majority around here, collected cards as a youth and have had a recent interest in them again (marriage will do that). Its amazing to me how much cards have changed since my last purchased cards in the very early 90's. Its a lot of info to digest as to where the state of the hobby is from that point to today but its still a hobby, and an expensive one. I was/am a huge Sandberg collector and look to pick up where I left of as well as getting in on the rookie movement of all the major sports. Well I hope to become a familiar fixture on the boards and cant wait to start exchanging some good info.

Welcome to SCF! It's great have you. This is an excellent place to not only trade, but to learn and share information about the hobby. I know exactly what you mean about how the hobby has changed over the years as I was in the same boat when I got back into collecting in 2006 after being away for 10 years. Now cards have memorabilia in them, cards are autographed, and the companies have changed.
