    Prime Question...

Alright so after seeing quite a bit of Donruss and Certified I have noticed that of the "prime" swatches that are being called patches most are actually just 2 colored jersey pieces and occasionally have a seam. Maybe I'm misunderstanding the whole "prime" classification but if that's what is happening I find it a bit ridiculous... Anyone have any insight as to what is going on here? I know all about Panini's Kodak deal so that's not what I'm missing... Thanks!

Not missing anything. The Prime swatches are meant to be either patches or super-cool jersey pieces. It's been like that for some time now.
