    Your All Time Favorite Set?

What was you all-time favorite set? What did you like about it? And any other reasons why it was fun to collect and why it was your favorite.

    Mine would be:

2003 Leaf Certified Baseball.... just searching on eBay and looking at some of the cards they had were awesome. Their "Mirror" inserts looked better then any year (the newer sets LC are still great too). I dont know why but everytime I see one of their cards it brings back great memories of collecting.

    Thanks,
    Jimmy

I collected the 1993 Topps just because that was all that I could get. But it was great to get a whole set completed. I think that is my favorite because it has the memory factor.

1999-00 Hoops Decade. I completed the set. I loved the retro Hoops design they used, it wasn't too expensive, the cards smelled good, and I liked some of the inserts.

    1984/85 Star Co. basketball because:
    - It is the pretty much the first set to have every player from every team.
    - It has scrubs not found in any other set (example: for me, UCLA players who only lasted a couple seasons in the pros).
    - It has the true RCs of the big boys like Jordan, Olajuwon, Barkley, etc.

I've always liked the 1980 Topps set because they are the first packs I bought. I'd give 1985 Topps a second place vote, for years it was considered the ultimate set because of the rookies in it--the many of those players faded and the set went down. Fun while it lasted though!

For FLEER: For some reason I liked the way the Patchworks card looked last year (Basketball)
    I also like Authentix.
For UD :Another good looking set is UD Legends Football this year, man I can't pick a favorite.

1965 Topps. Of course, I'll like it better when I finish it :)

1964 Topps was my favorite all time Baseball set, 04 Topps brought this concept back. 87 Fleer runs a close second.
Football it would have to be 86 Topps for me with 89 score right up there
Basketball will always be 89-90 Hoops although my favorite subset was the draft picks in 92-93 Upper Deck.

NDIRISH send me your 65 wantlist and lets get that set finished! I have multiples of every card in the set ranging from vg to nm
