It's not a question of "making up their minds," it's a matter of getting as much live autographed content as possible into the product to minimize redemptions. If they're bumping it back, there's a reason for that.
Habs fan and collector! Current PC's: Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, and Lane Hutson...., and of course...

To put things into perspective (no bragging)
I finished my capstone MBA course on May 5th and commencement was the 7th. I had planned to preorder a few boxes as a reward for toughing it out.
Then the product was pushed back
And again
Now I have started my final class that ends early July. (I went through with commencement this year, not in 2012). I am HOPING that I can get some Ultimate Collection for when I am finally done. Any later then Luxury Suite, Dominion, and The Cup will be coming out.

UD Ultimate Collection is now on the sched for June 28, 2011. Which probably puts this year's Cup very close to...next year. ;-)

Why is everyone in a rush to get hockey product? Seems mental. Who cares if it comes out in May or June. Look at the bright side, more live content unlike Panini which has more redemptions per product than any in the history of hockey cards.
Go ride your bike. Plant a tree.

I know this probably doesn't matter to anyone, but there's actually a good economical reason to be disappointed with pushed back release dates, especially if there's been significant money allocated to this product in a person's budget.
Specifically, there's an opportunity cost to have liquid assets frozen unexpectedly for a longer period of time.

By pushing the date later and later, hopefully less redemptions...

I believe that in order for a product to be considered in the 2010-11 season, the product must be released prior to August 1st.
The original release date for Ultimate was April 5th. It's a shame, because the cards look great and many people, including myself, were looking forward to this. The hockey season is going to end tomorrow, and I believe there are still approximately 6 products that have yet to be released and a few box sets.
