Orlando Magic completely blowing team up..
Gilbert Arenas for Rashard Lewis
Vince Carter, Mickael Pietrus, Marcin Gortat, a future first-round pick and cash to Phoenix for Hedo Turkoglu, Jason Richardson and Earl Clark.
I can't help but to question what the entire Orlando organization is doing, it just makes NO sense at all.Hidden Content

The most shocking of the would probably be the Lewis for Arenas deal... Vince hasnt been playing so well as opposed to J-rich.. so that deal probably will work out.

I think it will be great as long as everyone can play together. Chemistry will be the only issue. I think they losing pietrus is going to be the big loss. Carter and Lewis aren't really playing great and in scoring terms Arenas has been more consistent than both. Who is gonna be the #2 center now? That is my ??? Overall I think it is a step in the right direction.

Hmm will Canadians cheer for Vince Carter again now that he's on a team with Steve Nash? LOL
Habs fan and collector! Current PC's: Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, and Lane Hutson...., and of course...

I hated the Lewis for Arenas deal...in basketball, you want guys who shoot threes; not their teammates (yes, I'm aware Arenas did not actually shoot anyone).
The Carter trade didn't bother me as much, but I hate the loss of Pietrus. Plus, now the Magic need a new #2 center. Richardson is a great addition though.

The first deal Lewis for Arenas is a win for Orlando since Lewis is playing bad this season. Arenas is a much needed scoring boost off the bench for Orlando!
Now onto the Orlando-Phoenix deal. VC for J-Rich is a even swap but better for Orlando since Carter isn't what he used to be. Orlando gets Turkoglu back to replace Lewis. Pietrus will be good for Phoenix and especially Gortat because his size is desperately needed. And maybe Earl Clark can turn out to be a decent back up to Howard.
Both trades are a win-win for Orlando the way I see it.Last edited by Jay520; 12-18-2010 at 06:47 PM.

Having Areanas on your team since he has not proven that he is over his injury is a big question. The Wizards got rid of a lot of cost and received a good player is a plus.
Turkaglu is what Orlando wanted again. Phoenix is the big winner in all the transactions.

And Pietrus could shine in the Phoenix system.
