Will there a general "Quick Links" dropdown at the top of the interface be restored that contains the following: Subscribed Threads and User Control Panel options?

    It's back :)

Sorry but I only answer polite person, if you wish to call our volonteer that step up for your enjoyement, moron, I don't think your derseve more explanation.

    Have a good day!

What does a computer freezing have to do with this?

You're explanation is that someone that has no clue what they're doing has access to moving threads across every forum?

If you're asking me what I would do, I'll answer:

    REDUNDANCY.
DO NOT GIVE MORONS ACCESS TO ANY PART OF THE DB.

To the first part, back-ups should never be created at the same time. That's the whole point of back-ups. You should never have all three backups running on the last Monday of a month, which seems to be a distinct possibility.

    Assuming it's Sunday December X, you should carry X, X-1, X-8, X-30.

It's not a difficult problem: you think about the longest time you would take to notice a problem and you give yourself a window. That's the entire ideology of making a back-up. How long from inception to detection?

I'm pretty sure that almost every piece of software asks "are you sure you want to move/copy/delete XXX data"

It takes 30 seconds to write a cronjob, that'll do every single step of this for you.

If it takes someone that long to notice a mistake like EVERY THREAD being moved, you should increase the number of backups.

So yah, that's what you do.

I still cannot find my old threads. Please let me know if I have to re-post my trade/sale thread.

    Thanks.

People need to relax. It's only a sports card forum. It's not life/death.

as far as I can tell the "sensitive personal information" that people seem so bent out of shape about includes name, address, and town of residence- and email- guess what guys- if you are on the internet for anything, these are out there- and they are in the phone book as well. If people are that panicky about this info being out there- DONT TRADE ON A PUBLIC FORUM ON THE INTERNET!!!!

Thanks again to the staff here for making this place such a good one, and thanks for all the hard work you guys have done to fix the problems

We screwed up. How about trying to enjoy life or the hobby vice trolling for answers. We've answered you many times, but you apparently don't read the replies. Move along and try to enjoy life and the hobby.
