Really? It's only 4 parallels(compared to Certified and Artifacts with god knows how many each) and most are relatively cheap and easy to get your hands on if you're a player collector(unless you collect Taylor Hall or Jordan Eberle, then I can imagine getting the Retro Black/100 and Blank Back probably won't be too fun.)

Mostly the 07-08 Gold v Metal debacle.

How many blank backs are there?

We don't really know for sure because UD hasn't disclosed that info since 08-09. They said 15 that year. Last year may have been even more scarce - one calculation had it as low as /5.
