    My National experience

Just got home from the National in Atlantic City and it was quite an adventure. First of all I just want to note that the show was not crowded at all. Suprised me as it was a Saturday afternoon. Anyway, I noticed that Kiss had the biggest lines for autos, go figure. A lot of vintage stuff and tons of unopened newer stuff. Very good buys were to be had. Wish I had more money but set my budget at $600 for the show. This is what i got:

    2 1975 Topps Mini Packs $50 each
    2 1986 Topps Football Cellos $15 each
    1 1981 Topps Football Rack $20
    1 2003 Timeless Treasures baseball Tin $88
    1 2002 Bowman/Chrome Draft baseball Box $140
    1 2003 Bowman Chrome baseball Box $69
1 2003 UD Foundations Hockey Box $33(Great price)
1 2002 UD Prospect Premiers Box $26(another good buy)
    1 1970 Kelloggs PSA 9 Tom Seaver $15
    1 1970 Kelloggs PSA 9 Frank Robinson $15
I just started building the Kellogg's set in PSA 9 so these came in handy.

I will post box breaks later on.

Not really, I just put away money for this for a while. I will post my breaks under the Break the box thread since it is different sports.

are you planning on opening this?

I'd be interested to see if you get a George Brett or Robin Yount. I have their RCs from the regular size

I already opened them and came up short on anything good. Got a Yaz and a Jim Hunter. I am going to get the Yaz graded along with one of the commons that looks really really good. I took a shot with them and didn't work out.

To tell you the truth, I didn't see any etopps stuff. It might have been there but didn't notice it. As far as the giveaways I believe they were giving away Lebron James promos if you opened packs at UD's booth. There were others but didn't pay too much attention. The only booth i visited was PSA's as I wanted to get a look at the T206 Honus Wagner card. This was the one that Gretzky used to own. Was weird looking at a 1.2 million dollar card. Spent about 3 hours there and then hit the casino for a bit.
