    Ebay question

I have a buyer with (0) rating asking me to send an item to thier son address as a birthday gift. He also says he is away and has to use his blackberry and can't use the ebay checkout. He says he will pay me using his paypal Blackberry app if I send him my paypall address.

This does not seem normal to me but this is the first time this has happened to me. so would like some advice from here.

If you send him the invoice first (make it detailed explaining what he is to be paying for), to the paypal address requested, dont end your item yet... then if and when he pays the total on the invoice... you can then end your item. If you receive the payment, it shouldnt really matter where he wants the card to be shipped... Just make sure you send with Insurance and DC as mentioned above. I think you should be fine, ive ended several auctions, and did sales away from ebay to save on fees and what not... the only thing i would be skeptical about would be his 0 feedback. but if hes willing to pay first, i think that can be overlooked

Money first send later destination does not matter if you have the cash.

To be protected by Paypal as a seller, you must ship to a verified address. I'd say no. And I'd never take COD either.

    I wouldn't do it.

You are only protected if you're sending to a paypal verified address. If he owns a black berry, he must have access to a computer somewhere - he can use the eBay checkout there.
