iPod/Computer Help!
Here's my situation: My computer (Toshiba Laptop w/Vista(
)) won't recognize any USB devices. I've tried my iPod Touch (2nd Gen), an iPod Nano (5th Gen) and a flash drive. None of them were recognized by the computer or detected in iTunes. However, both iPods charge on the computer. I've tried everything I can think of: different USB cord, restarting iPods, reinstalling iTunes, restarting computer, and updating drivers (although I'm not sure I did this part right). I just cannot figure this out! Google searches have proven ineffective as well. Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks!

Bring it to Best Buy; they should be able to pinpoint it.
Andrew Bailey Supercollector: 233/263 not including 1/1's (88.6%); 265/466 cards including 1/1's(56.9%)

If I understand correctly, your iPod will charge but the PC doesn't recognize it. Try uninstalling all Apple/Mac software related to the iPod and then re-installing it. Don't just re-install over the existing software. It sounds like you have a bad driver that needs to be removed and re-installed.
If that doesn't work try calling Apple/Mac support. They should be able to help.

Thanks for the reply, however, I tried your suggestion and it didn't work. I guess I will give Apple a call tomorrow.
