John Smoltz

Before you say anything, you must here the story that goes with this. I saw the SCN success on 12/24, so that's why I'm actually trying this.

Back in HS, my Spanish teacher, for space sake I will call her Mrs. P, always started the year by telling a little bit about her "history". Mrs. P is an older teacher, and was not always a teacher at my old HS, let alone always taught Spanish. Well, many years ago when she was an English teacher, a young boy was in one of her classes in an Lansing area HS. He always wrote in his papers that one day he would be a great MLB pitcher and etc. Like most teachers do, she treated it as an "oh yeah, right" and didn't expect it to happen.

That young boy grew up, went to college, and become the legendary pitcher we know today as John Smoltz. I would like to stop by to see her sometime and give her a working address so he may write to him after all these years. That is the story, and I hope it was kind of fun to read and somebody will be able to help me.
