    11' spgu

Hey what do you guys think about the SPGU coming out soon?I have a bunch of xmas money, and the limited I got was fairly decent, but the whole 1 pack thing scares me. How do you think SPGU is for a good hit, or should i try another limited or artifacts? Thanks for opinions

SPGU, to be honest, is my least favorite product of the year. Upper Deck should have killed it, and kept Ice as a real release.

Artifacts or Limited seem to be pretty hit or miss too. Maybe wait for SPA?

On blowoutcards.com it says 6 packs per box, 3 cards per pack. 1 GU or AU per pack on average. Possibily 4-6 hits per box maybe

Me and a friend are tempted to split a box, but idk if I can justify $70 for 3 packs.

Might take a chance on it, as I do like the look of 09/10 SPGU.

    Hi,

SPGU iS a hit or miss box but I like them a lot. I had some good breaks for 08-09 and 09-10 so I can't wait until they are for sale.

    Good luck on choosing.

i love SPGU but people like me are a rare breed....most people don't like them...i think that they load the good boxes...and they make the other boxes horrible...so its a huge risk..thats just my personal opinion tho
Please check my inventory before my photobucket!!! It's more up to date!!!

The thing with SPGU is that you either get a fantastic break with a By The Letter or a Fight Strap or one of the /99 RCs, or you get an RC of someone you've never heard of and a GU that'll be in the dollar bin within a week. My LCS has it at $50 a pack, and there is absolutely no way I would ever even consider it.
