Recording your card inventory/trade list
I've spent some time organizing all my cards and now I'm ready to log them electronically somehow. Looking for suggestions, success stories, and insights. Need to build a trade list and I've entertained putting them on Naxcom too.
For example, what are the Beckett store guys doing to get all those cards online, yet track the current BV so they aren't over charging? They can't possibly be using that same interface I have with Beckett to search for players/sets and then click on everything one by one. Or are they?
I'm thinking if I want a good list with BV I have to click away on Beckett and then copy it out into other file types. I've done this for my Schilling collection, but I was hoping maybe I was missing an easier way.

Tutall - Ya, knew that. Have a monthly subscription. Wondering if there are other levels of service with them. Perhaps a business one or something that the "stores" on the site perhaps use.
For example, how do those stores track all their cards yet know how not to overprice them? They can't using the same tools they give you and I with our online Beckett subscription, can they?
Anyone with any insight? If not, I may go direct to Beckett or a store I've bought from.

They have a thing called MyCollections where you can add certain cards to different 'collections'. Once you add them they are always there and you can see the set/parallel/#/name of each card at all times. Then it lists the total value at teh top. But if you want prices listed next to each individual card you have to buy their OPG... $3.99/mo per sport.
Not sure if this is what you wanted but I tried explaining it: Priceguides & MyCollections is connected. So they have one database that has all the cards & prices. So if you buy an OPG the prices will be visible in both the Price Guide and the MyCollections area. You don't have to buy seperatly.

I just got the thing about the store :new_silly... The sellers list the cards and set the prices manually... Beckett doesn't update the prices for them. The sellers have to look them up themselves.
